Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 October 2026
The short version: there are no accounts or sign-ups, and we never ask for your name or email. The site works with your public wallet address, which you connect yourself. Once you connect a wallet on popcorn.mngo.xyz, your visit is recorded with FullStory so we can find and fix problems.
No accounts, no personal details
You never register or hand over personal details to use Popcorn Lounge. Your Algorand wallet address is your identity here. We don't ask for, store or sell names, emails or any other personal information.
Your wallet address and bets
When you connect a wallet, the site uses your public address to show your balance, bets and pool picks. Your private keys never touch this site: signing happens inside your own wallet app.
When you bet, our API stores the bet: your address, the line, your stake, its transaction and its result, all of which are on the blockchain anyway. Pool picks live on the blockchain. Like most web servers, the API may keep standard access logs (IP address, requested URL) for debugging and to stop abuse.
Session recording
On popcorn.mngo.xyz, once you connect a wallet, the site loads FullStory, a session-recording service. It records how you use the site (the pages you visit, what you click and what's on screen) and labels the recording with your wallet address. We use it to find bugs and see where the site is confusing. Nothing is recorded before you connect a wallet.
Cookies and local storage
Popcorn Lounge sets no cookies of its own. FullStory sets its own cookies, and only once you connect a wallet.
Your browser's local storage remembers which wallet you connected, site settings such as feature previews, and an admin's sign-in. It stays on your device, and you can clear it any time in your browser settings.
Third-party services
Using the site involves some third parties, each with its own privacy practices:
- Your wallet (Pera, Defly or Daffi) handles connection and signing.
- Algorand nodes (AlgoNode) serve blockchain data and send the transactions you sign.
- NFDomains looks up the .algo names and avatars of addresses shown on the site, and IPFS gateways serve those avatars.
- Google Fonts and cdnjs serve the site's fonts and emoji images, so your browser contacts them when a page loads.
- Amazon Web Services hosts the site and its API.
- FullStory records sessions, as above.
- The Odds API supplies lines and scores to our servers. It receives nothing about you.
Everything you do on-chain, from bets and pool picks to claims, is public and permanent by design. That's the blockchain, not us.
